Important Information for our 5 1/2" Innerspring Mattress

Our 805-01 Queen Sleeper is shown with our heavy-duty 905 Restorer contract sleeper mechanism.  This is standard in all our sleepers and carries a 5-year warranty.  The bias weave soft deck offers the strongest, longest lasting deck in the industry.  Strong 12 gauge helical springs and sturdy 1 1/8” diameter tubing support the deck.  It has double cross-member tubes in the shoulder section for a stronger frame and also has center supported cross-wires to provide added sleeping comfort.  A great standard feature is the Double Anti-Topple device, which prevents the sleeper from tilting when in the open position.  The Innerspring Mattress is held in position by dual galvanized mattress retainers.

Spring Coil counts are as follows:

Queen - 01…345                                Full - 02…299

Loveseat - 03...184                            Space Saver Full -12...288

Chair Sleeper - 09…115

A 1.65-ounce per square foot synthetic bonded pad is stapled to the top and bottom of the spring unit.  The insulator pad is hypoallergenic, mildew resistant and is needle punched for uniformity and toughness.  A layer of urethane foam padding is stamped over the insulator pad on the sleep surface and all corners are fully padded with urethane foam blocks.  A layer of urethane quilting foam is multi-needle quilted to the damask cover on the sleeping surface and all borders are multi-needle quilted to urethane foam as well.  The bottom of the mattress is made of a non-skid abrasion resistant matching filler cloth.  All material edges are surged for additional strength and also to prevent seam slippage.  1 ¼” binding tape is used to enclosed the mattress on both sides.  Every mattress is machine needle tufted throughout the body surface area to prevent any shifting of materials while being folded in the sleep unit or used in the sleeping position.  For example, our Queen Size Mattress has 5 rows of tufts in a diamond pattern, for a total of 14 tufts for added stability.  Every mattress is heat-sealed in a plastic bag to prevent damage and soiling.
